Totally exciting, hmm??

Well, it is for me! My first ever.

I'm pretty much in love! I'm signing the papers tonight and might even have some pictures to post tonight!

The photographic highlight of my trip to Las Vegas was going twice to the Valley of Fire at sunrise and shooting for about four hours each day. I went with Bryan Valliant of Amore Studios and he took these super cute pictures of me that you see throughout.

We could have spent the entire week there as there were so many spots we didnt get to visit. We did however find the Elephant Rock and Rainbow Vista, which were cool. I think my favorite pictures next to the blooming cactus were the ones taken through the window with the headlights shining on the Seven Sisters rocks.

Thanks Bryan, Melody, and Andree - you made my week super great!!

Below are just a few quick pictures that I took of Phox. He is such a poser (just like he was when I owned him!) and it was very easy to get some good photos of him. He is a great guy and I'm so proud of him. Soon he will be famous, I can just tell. And whats best is that he came from my house.. how cool is that? I will definately visit him again, someday when he's in a show so that I can get some pictures of him all 'fancied' up. Here's to my boy, Phox...

Today's the day, flying back to Vancouver then bussing it home tonight. Riding in style!! I will have all my photos blogged by tomorrow. More Phox, and pictures from the two trips to the Valley of Fire at Sunrise.

It was a great trip indeed, I met some cool people, had fun, and learned some amazing things.

Next year we're going to Tampa in January and staqying at the Hyatt.. can you say beach photo shoots?

Well this morning I am sitting in LAX waiting to fly to Las Vegas. My flight leaves in 44 minutes so this must be a quick post!!

I saw Phox yesterday and took a ton of GREAT photos of him! He remembered me which was super cool. I owned him from the moment he was born until he was three years old and he will be seven on May 20, of this year.

So, I will be posting pictures very soon. I have narrowed what I took down to 99 favorites but still have to post precess them a bit. I think Im going to make some into canvas prints actually, for my own wall. He's such a special boy!

Going to board the plane in about five minutes so I should wrap this up. Vegas here I come!!!!

Im off to Vegas... well not quite. First Im off to LA to visit Phox, the horse that I sold three years ago, who now lives in LOS ANGELES!!! Then to Vegas on Sunday. Can you say excited? Excited!!

I will definately post a lot of pictures from there, I cant wait. Im doing a sunrise shoot at the Valley of Fire. And Old Vegas, fun things like that.

It's been determined that these nests are a Great Blue Heron Rookery. Now I have to go back in May when the eggs are hatched!

They are between Cache Creek and Kamloops just before the Cherry Creek gas station. I would love to know!
